ITC Music CD's

name='mariocki']According to AP, he's worked on 4 others and we know that one of them is likely to be The Saint so there's a good chance one of the others could be The Baron, seeing as the tapes for The Persuaders! are lost.

Very unhappy that the Persuaders tapes are lost.



Does this mean that even the master recordings used in the show are also missing, or is it the case that they are simply not released - because the owners of the music do not wish the material to become available for the general public.



A great pity, as some of the music featured within the show was probably better than the other ITC programmes - well I thought so anyway.

name='resroc']Ian, without giving too much away, will the first release from Network be for the black and white episodes, or does music only survive for the colour ones?

I was wondering that also. Has the music for The Saint B/W progs gone astray in the same way as most of the Gideon's Way material.



There appears to be a few Saintly bits of music used in Gideon's way and I think both shows were made at the same time. Hopefully some of the early material still survives and will be released by Christmas this year -



I think this soundtrack release was the first to be advertised by Network quite a few years ago.

Have some more tapes been found ?



The details given for the forthcoming release 'Music of ITC' does say there will be material not available elsewhere - music from The Baron and The Persuaders.



Up to now I understood that we already had everything that still survived from the Baron and the Main theme only from The Persuaders was all that existed



I notice from the CD list there is still no sign yet of The Saint music. - I suppose tracks 23 to 31 of disc 1 of the itc music set were previously on the DVD colour Box set.



Will the Saint session tapes ever be released. ?
