The Network music cd's are only available online. The Man In A Suitcase set is excellent and well worth having.
I find it rather irritating that I seem to be unable to buy the ITC Original Music CD's without ordering through the Network Website. Perhaps there is some agreement that prevents High Street shops from getting these CD sets, but if not, Network must be losing sales as many people are not able or willing to purchase online.
There was a delay in bringing out these collections of music, but now several have been released in recent months with hopefully more for the future
Rather disappointed that The Saint series music has not yet been released, as I think this CD was the first to be advertised - Have the Master Tapes disappeared ?
Not sure if I've put this posting in the right section

Seconded. It's absolutely superb.
The Saint was announced in 2006 as one of the future soundtrack releases along with The Champions and the already released Randall & Hopkirk and The Prisoner.
As sales are restricted to the NETWORK website, royalty payments to composer/MD are much less !
A Saintly soundtrack is coming, just be patient...

Is the Randall & Hopkirk theme tune available on any other CD compilation besides the Network soundtrack? It's a great tune but don't really want to spend £30!
I got mine off a double CD called "This Is Cult Fiction Royale" a very good album of theme tunes![]()
I see Network have just announced a CD music release of the 30 minute Danger Man episodes, sounds like a good buy to me and hopefully soon they will get round to releasing the episodes ( the Carlton box set I believe is now deleted ).![]()
The Champions is apparently up next according to this:
Double O Section
Due for release on the 30th of March:
“THE CHAMPIONS: Craig Stirling, Sharron Macready and Richard Barrett. The possessors of fantastic skills and qualities, both mental and physical. Powers bestowed upon them when their plane crashed in Tibet and they encountered the lost people of a hidden civilisation. Powers that are a secret known only to them. Powers they are able to use to their best advantage as the Champions of Law, Order and Justice. Craig, Sharron and Richard - operators of the international agency of Nemesis.”
Never previously released and compiled from the original master tapes, this three-CD set comprises the varied themes and incidental scores for The Champions, containing around 200 pieces of music which were specially composed for the series. Three composers with different styles offer tunes and melodies which take the Nemesis super-humans across the world into fresh adventures. Starting with an operation amidst Chinese research laboratories, after which the trio become lost in the mountain peaks of Tibet, their later missions take them to an island in the Pacific with a deadly secret, across the North Sea to the continent trailing a nuclear submarine, from London to Rotterdam in pursuit of stolen gold, to the Spanish estate of a dictator and a mysterious country house in England for a series of bizarre experiments... plus additional forays to the Caribbean and the deserts of Australia and Africa. Including extensive liner notes from archive television historian Andrew Pixley, this set is an essential purchase for all ITC aficionados.
Champions (The): Original Soundtrack: Network DVD

I am still trying to be patient - Hopefully the Saint original soundtrack tapes from the B/W series still survive. I can remember hearing a much slower version of the main theme (when the prog was broadcast in the 1970's) This appears to be unavailable these days.
The reason why I mention this is because there seemed to be a lack of music with the Network DVD extras on the B/W episode release, compared with the colour shows.
The original soundtrack tapes for the Persuaders have also yet to make an appearance.......perhaps one day
.
In some cases the theme tunes to ITC series were the only interesting part of them.![]()
name='mariocki']The Adventurer - come on down!
.... poor ol' Gene Bradley and his tendy trousers, that one must be the least popular of all the ITC action series. I actually quite enjoy it, in a last half hour before bedtime braindead kind of way.
I like 'The Adventurer's billing where Gene Barry's character was described as 'Everybody's Pinup, Nobody's fool' -----------and a review saying he had a hard time proving either of them!
Up next, a single disc edition of Strange Report at £10:75:

That should be good ... there was some fine music in that series.
Any news on The Baron?
According to AP, he's worked on 4 others and we know that one of them is likely to be The Saint so there's a good chance one of the others could be The Baron, seeing as the tapes for The Persuaders! are lost.
I would really like to see a soundtrack for Gideon's Way although the dvd set said that the music included on it was the 'surviving' soundtrack, which tends to suggest that much has been lost.
I would be interested in The Baron as the music had quite a distinctive and powerful score considering the similarities in Astley's music for other shows.

Ian, without giving too much away, will the first release from Network be for the black and white episodes, or does music only survive for the colour ones?
