    John Williams vs Harry Gregson-Williams

Both amazing composers! But which one is the better, best? or the one you like and enjoy listening to??

Harry Gregson-Williams scores in The Chronicles of Narnia are amazing to listen to, i love listening to "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - The Battle" score over and over again! And how can be forget the Starwars The Imperial March score by John Williams!

Agreed! I never get fed up of the repeating theme for 49th Parallel which can be found on the British Film Music CD - Volume II, Pearl (GEM 0101) - and that's just one short theme repeated to fill 4' 21''.

I am gradually getting his music on CD's from Borders.

I am a big fan of John Williams' music - he rarely fails to deliver.

I certainly did. A wonderful evening.

Whilst talking of RVW, it was so sad hear of the passing of Vernon Handley a few weeks ago, a wonderful man, conductor and a champion of Vaughan Williams and other British composers.

Sorry to hear about Vernon Handleys death I have a compilation of him on the Chandos label, an excellent independent classicla label I might add.
