The music from both the half-hour and one-hour Danger Man series has been released in the UK by Network.
I must confess that I am a big Danger Man fan, and would probably collect images and newspaper cuttings to the nth degree about the show and its personnel, but I have never quite grasped the pleasure of listening to musical cues outside of the watching of the film itself. I did listen on the dvd set, to some rough-cuts as the orchestra worked out exactly how the theme tune should be played and that was interesting, but I couldn't imagine listening to a cd of it, as opposed to making a small diversion whilst exploring the dvd extras. I'm not very musical myself, so maybe this is part of my *block*, but I just wondered if anyone can explain the attraction of a cd of all this stuff and how it is used in the home setting. I've noticed a few shows seem to be spawning such musical extras. Maybe like some art, you have to understand it a little to appreciate it. Do all those cues and things actually come off entire pieces of music and the cd plays the whole musical piece or something?
