Since the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s clips are proving so popular, I thought - though it must have been done - that there should be a Film Song clip thread. Preferably the title song, as seen in the film/over the credits ... but any song that really is that movie would do.

As I say, it's probably been done, in which case, ignore the thread, it'll go away. But in the meantime, these are worth 5 minutes of your time.

(proper smokey pub, too: and check out the 'video screen' effect at 40" - a mirror, obviously, but it looks very modern).

Some fantastic stuff - Stoneground are astonishingly groovy.... maybe. Want to see the rest of it, now. That Birds track isn't on my comp, dern it ... both the Pacemakers and the Flanagan and Allen clips will bring tears to my eyes, and Tammy ... what can I say? As a teenager I used to shut myself in my room and wallow in 50s torch songs and ballads of that cut: Greenfields, End of the World, Don't, Put Your Head on My Shoulder, You Belong to Me, A thousand Stars, and Tammy (off the Going Steady soundtrack - anyone remember that?) ... the sadder the better.

But the winner HAS to be Sid James in Three Hats for Lisa. Not necessarily true of that film, but some films actually benefit by being represented by one great clip, as opposed to being sat through. Was he a singer or dancer when younger?

    So while I'm here:

    Rather an obvious one ...
