British crime film. First time on this channel?

They originally showed it on the Matinee Channel a few years back. The Matinee Channel started showing some rarely seen UK British films from the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. It was like 'Manor from Heaven'



Off the top of my head I know they showed The Years Between (1946), The Master of Bankdam (1947), The Silver Darlings (1947), The End of The Line (1957), The Quiet Woman (1950), No Trace (1950), Blackout (1950), Svengali (1954), Dance Little Lady (1954), The Scarlet Web (1954), The Angel Who Pawned Her Harp (1954), The Scamp (1957), The Primitives (1962), Dateline Diamonds (1965), The Steel Key (1952), Impulse (1955), Tiger By The Tail (1955) and loads more besides. I may be wrong here but I think they then changed their name to Movies For Men?
