Whenever somebody uses the 'critically acclaimed' tag I often suspect it's to promote an average film that never pulled in many punters. But Small Faces was a very good drama that had a lot in common with Coppola's The Outsiders. It made the tailend of the BFI's top 100 British films and my initial thoughts were that this was the BFI trying to be elitist, but considering the British make very few good teen drama's (like Kes) it was a worthy inclusion.</div><div class='quotemain'>DB7:
