Re: THE RED BERET. This is a very odd version of the film, that has been run on Channel 4 a couple of times in recent years, where for some reason, Stanley Baker's voice has been dubbed by another actor who sounds like John Van Eysen. Oddly enough, versions of the film, with the same British title, that were run on ATV and HTV in the 1970's, had Stanley Baker's voice on the soundtrack, undubbed.
Does anyone know why Baker's voice was dubbed in the version run on Channel 4, but not on versions shown previously on other channels?
