Thanks as always for the weekly film schedule. How do you find the afternoon listings for BBC4, et al? The online listings skip the afternoon.

    Thanks,

    Barbara

I' ve probably posted this before but this site is very useful for Freeview films. BTW, BBC3 and BBC4 don't broadcast in the afternoon as they share their frequency with the BBC's two children's channels. They start at 7.00pm

Not British, but BBC4 is screening Visconti's THE LEOPARD next Sunday evening.

I sincerely hope this is the fully restored original Italian and not the atrcious US dubbed English language version......

Thank you, Captain. I asked about afternoon listings for BBC3 and 4 because some of the films DB7 has listed have afternoon times, such as:

The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men

    13:50 to 15:25: Monday 8th December on Channel 4

I'm puzzled unless Channel 4 is not BBC4?

    Thanks,

    Barbara

On Freeview in the UK we have the following channels with 4 (or Four) in the name:

    BBC4

    Channel Four

    ITV4

    Film Four

    E4

These are all separate channels with different schedules (and movies)

(there are also the +1HR options for some of the above )

There are, of course, many other channels on Freeview...

    Hope this clarifes.....

Useful site, that you have posted before, Captain, but a reminder always helps. But... clearly I'm doing something daft, but films shown on Film4 don't seem to make an appearance?

They seem to have vanished Software problems perhaps? They were definitely there a few days ago but they've all gone now. Most annoying.

The site is fine but, as Rob spotted, they aren't including Film4 in their listings. Which is rather annoying.

    Hi, Roger,

Thanks for this. Very helpful because I've erroneously merged Channel 4 with BBC4. I can Google these channels, but does anyone know if there is a collective listing for these and other UK channels? If so, it would certainly save time in browsing them on a weekly or daily basis.

    Best,

    Barbara

The Radio Times site has a feature which means that you can select what channels you're interested in and just see listings for those.

I emailed the webmaster and he hadn't realised there was a software glitch. It's sorted now

He seemed keen for any feedback so I think he'd be pleased to have any comments about the site.
