Not Arthur the King .... The Bat makes a fleeting appearance in this epic myself (buried under a wig and a big helmet - ooer) and I can assure that the actor was wearing even more mascara than the horse!

The 1996 BBC version of Ivanhoe with Stephen Waddington .... we were filming at Castle Hedenham in Suffolk and I missed the first-half of the England v Germany Euro 96 semi-final because of it. Correct!
