An easier one for remembering the planets is
My Very Easy Memory Jingle Seems Useful Naming Planets

Or possibly:
My Very Educated Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets

Of course now that it's been decided that Ceres & Eris are planets as well (albeit dwarf planets), we need a new one. The National Geographic ran a competition and awarded the prize to
My Very Exciting Magic Carpet Just Sailed Under Nine Palace Elephants

I don't know any other full mnemonics for the colours of the rainbow (or spectrum). I presume that one is only much use where people are taught some British history

Most of the rest of the English speaking world just seems to use Roy G Biv
That's been used as the titles of tracks by various bands, the names of some villains in comic book stories and various other things

No good for a Dummkopf like me - it's got 2 x Ms in it! I could single-handedly change order of the solar system.

Oh dear, sorry about that. I'll just go and re-name the planets for you so that they all have unique initials

"Is he not in yet?"
"Yes"
"Where is he then?"
"He's not in"
" But you just said he was"
" I didn't, you asked whether he was not in and I responded to your question"

The times I had trying to get this across to an old colleague.

We once had a call from a door to door salesman for plastic double glazed windows. His technique was sadly lacking.
He said, after realising we'd got timber frames
" D'you not want no new windows in there mate?"
