Indeed. I love Dan Duryea's films but I had never noticed the resemblance with Willem Defoe before.

I once saw a small black and white still of Paul Newman, in a Broadway play, included in the description of an online lot of pictures of Patrick McGoohan......

There was another one where a picture of Mel Ferrer in 'El Greco' was described as being Patrick McGoohan playing James, in the 1971 Mary, Queen of Scots.......

Americans seem perenially to confuse McGoohan with Macnee. This recent one amused me greatly: My son in college attended Halloween revelries as Number 6, 1967's "The Prisoner" played by Patrick McGoohan (an actor slightly better known for the 1960s series "The Avengers," although its cult status couldn't save the disastrous 1998 film version.)
