I don't know if anyone has noticed that geordie actor Robson Green is becoming increasingly like the British actor Michael Gough, albeit a younger version!

I think there are a few actors today who look like the sons and grandsons of some of the older stars from yesteryear. Nicholas Cage reminds me of James Stewart, Sly Stallone is Victor Mature, Brad Pitt looks similar to Robert Redford at the same age, Walter Matthau could have been Sid James' brother!

Cheryl Campbell and Googie Withers not only look similar but they have the same mannerisms!

Has anyone else noticed the remarkable resemblance between Brian Barwick, FA chief executive, whose face is plastered all over today's newspapers, and the great Michael Powell? Uncanny.

And while we're on the subject has anyone noticed the resemblance between 'Big Phil' Scolari and a football manager with proven world-beating international experience?

The F.A. did....but whoops...looks like he's slipped through our fingers......

ah well......back to watching 'Escape to Victory'

As I never buy newspapers I hadn't seen any of the pictures.
But, in the best traditions of Private Eye here's one of Michael Powell

and here's one of Brian Barwick

Hee. If Mr. Barwick took off five kilos, he might have that lean look of keen intelligence that Michael Powell had.

Best,

Barbara

We were playing this 'game' at work one night. It's pretty straightforward, find a 'movie star' who looks like another 'celebrity' and post the pictures and vice versa. Or you can use two 'movie stars'. You can be either funny or not, the choice is yours ...

No pictures of forum members allowed.

I'll begin with a menage a trois ....

Carlos Tevez (footballer)

Jade Goody (???)

and

Roddy McDowell in 'Planet of the Apes'
