Susan Shaw is right. Can't show you the pair of main characters, but the guy in shadow has a very memorable profile.

You're thinking There Is Another Sun francesgumm .... I can't place the other actor in the picture with Susan Shaw so I don't think it's that (although I have got Max films wrong in the past). If the profile is Laurence Harvey the other films he made with Susan are The Good Die Young (I don't think it's that) and The Large Rope, which I haven't seen.

Joe gets it - It's Not Cricket!
It's Not Cricket (1949)

The quiff is the Sheriff of Nottingham, Alan Wheatley. Stars Radford and Wayne with Susan Shaw, the rather anaemic Nigel Buchanan and Maurice Denham acting sinister. Watched it the other day and very much enjoyed it, especially the demob scene.

Yes, good to see Radford and Wayne in the main roles. Diana Dors is credited as "Blonde", but I'm astonished to have to admit that I didn't notice her! I'll have another look tomorrow, purely to appreciate an early role of a cinema icon.
I recognized Battersea power station, however, so my eyesight can't be that bad.
