I am totally baffled .... Rs, 2 x As, duplicates, Vs ....... please explain.

Because. in the first set. with the exception of Julie Andrews, you have the letters of the alphabet (without the vowels) to be found in the last name of the actor.

The missing two are: Paul Rogers a.k.a. Leo Genn and Nelson Xavier as the Director/Actor.

Julie is OOO because her role was Victor/Victoria and not her last name!

Oh no, don't retire. It was a good quiz. As I said earlier, I am not very good at these sort of teasers .... I'd better stick to General Custer in future .... hadn't I Joe .

Do they include ... Angie Dickinson, Grace Kelly, Eva Marie Saint, Maggie Smith, Ruth Gordon, Jean Kent?

Joe has already approved Angie Dickinson, Grace Kelly, Eva Marie Saint, Jean Kent and Maggie Smith.

I didn't get the ones at bottom left corner, top right corner and 2nd left at the top who could, I agree, be Olympia Dukakis. Shelley Winters could be bottom left corner girl. I recognise top right corner girl but can't name her.
