Okay am giving the full answer out

Wags gets and was near as damnit

All have played roles previously incarnated by Herbert Lom except Walter Huston whose performance as the Doctor in And Then There Were None predates Herbs.

I had forgotten that Herb also turns up in the third Towers/Welbeck version as well (I haven't actually seen it).

Thats the joke that killed the Music Hall !

Max! And it is on his own special thread ...... I hope you will be entering, there are loads of clues dotted around the site.

Why not set a Fat Baz quiz? Then he can have his own special thread too!

That's OK, I don't mind him being damaged goods.

OK, I'm assuming everyone can get Anton Walbrook, Jeremy Northam and David Niven. The fourth chap is pretty famous too - someone will know him.

Nope. Brit who was poached by Hollywood in the 1930s. He played King Arthur twice if that helps (it's not relevant to the OOO)
