Three of them played characters called HG Wells but that seems too obvious and I can't work out what Toddy is doing there So I don't think it can be that. Unless it's a complicated double bluff...

Sinden is OOO ... the other 3 were in time travel films (Toddy - Interrupted Journey/ MacDowell - Time after Time/Taylor - Time Machine)

Sinden was in As Time Goes By which isn't to do with time travel.

Sinden and McDowell both played HG himself. Taylor was The Time Traveller who was called Wells. Toddy - no idea though he met a famous time traveller when he appeared in Doctor Who so I'm guessing he's OOO. But why?

Your getting there but wrong OOO and there is a Todd HG connection but I have just checked IMDB and it isn't mentioned . It is mentioned elsewhere on the web so google it

Yes, no thanks to IMDB, it is Rod Taylor who played a character called H. G. Wells in the film of The Time Machine while the book does not name the character

They have all bar Korda played Oberon - is this relevant ?

Yes it is cos old Alex was married to an Oberon - Merle therefore OOO !

I thought I'd throw in a quickie. Well done ! The Alex Jennings RSC Dream is fabulous BTW - it's all done as a small child's dream and the acting is superb.
