Brought forward

To recap -

Got the names of the thesps

Leo
Ethan
Robert
Matt

The connecting factor is an actor

Remakes play a part

Shakespeare is involved - Leo playing Romeo and Ethan playing Hamlet but not the other two

There is not really anything more I can give in clues - you need to look for the mystery actor who connects with all four in the contexts of the clues. If you want I will give the answer.

Has Wood (?Natalie?) anything to do with it?

It has to be Larry Olivier then. (Guessing wildly now)

Nope, he doesn't really really connect with any apart from Ethan Hawke

Harvey played 'Hamlet' in The Magic Christian / Hawke played 'Hamlet' in Hamlet

Harvey played 'Romeo' in Romeo and Juliet / Di Caprio played 'Romeo' in Romeo and Juliet

Harvey played 'Wilhelm Grimm' in The Wonderful World of The Brothers Grimm / Damon played 'Wilhelm Grimm' in The Brothers Grimm

Harvey played Durrance in Storm Over The Nile / Powell played Durrance in The Four Feathers

Hawke is OOO 'cos his 'Hamlet' was not a recreation of Harvey's 'Hamlet'.

Bats.

Don't miss out on a chance to win a rare film in Bat-Quiz 13 closing date - 31/8/8.

Batman, if I may say so with respect, you are truly AMAZING. Not just solving the problem but getting inside Windthrop's devious (no offence!) mind.

Well, thank you very much suzepulcheria ..... this one was tricky ..... but not as bad as a Windy 'brain crippler' ..... come to think of it, we've not had one of those for a while.
