A slight alternative take on the game. Here's a famous British poem that's been passed through 6 languages on Google Translate (including Urdu, Hebrew and Latin) and then back into English.

    This time, mom and dad.
It's nothing, but maybe they do.
He filled you make a mistake
And how must add you outside.

But you were wrong in the series
    Old hats and coats Reply
    That is tough emotional half-hour
And the other half to the neck.

    Human misery by men.
    But as deep shelf waters.
    Once
    And not free.

Don't think this is too difficult, but what do you think?

Ha! That's good! I know what this is but I'll leave it to see what other people think of it.

Interesting that the expletive got deleted...

I think using languages like Urdu does that because they just don't have their own equivalent (certainly all Urdu-speakers I've known have dropped the English word into their conversations when swearing). I dare say it's the same in Hebrew which was an archaic, ceremonial language even when the Old Testament was written down.

No takers? Not so easy when you can't Google the answer, is it?

    May I supply a clue?

Perhaps the most controversial poem by a bloke born in the city Zettel and I live in.

    That may not help much...

Is there anyone who doesn't know "The Verse This Be"? Rearrange the last 4 words for the title
Or are you just Larkin about?

I got this one to read ===> [Sceptical Essays]

It's in a kind of way always linked with Cinema because Roman Polanski said it's one of his favourites ever
