lists of credits have got so long these days they even name personnel you wouldn't even have thought existed. how about we go back to the days when the only thing you saw after the movie finished was "the end"?

Grand Prix, a film which also should be watched on the large screen.

The opening sequence on Youtube

Great Bike - Memorable ending, shame you can't get it on Region 2.............

.....You couldn't hear it, if they were shooting at me with howitzers!

What about Mildred Pierce with the sea washing in wipe away one set of credits and washing out to reveal the next set.

I liked the end of Brimstone and Treacle where Dudley Sutton puts his arm round Sting and walks away with him.

Anything with Dud is a winner.

Jumping to another Dud, BEDAZZLED, with Dudley Moore's music and God's laughter echoing over the end credits -- a funny, grim, witty and rather epic way to ened a movie.

I like the end of HOW I WON THE WAR where Michael Crawford munching a biccy segues into the sound of marching boots over the final credits.

And HELP! from the same director, screening tomorrow on 2, has a very nice final dedication...
