I have a rather unusual dislike of Micky Rooney. I wish I could edit all his bits out of Breakfast at Tiffany's - he spoils every scene he's in.

I also can't stand the genre I think of as 'meathead' films like American Pie or Porky's. Awful.

You probably haven't had them cooked properly.

Slice them into medium slices, about 1/4 thick. Then cook them in butter until they just begin to brown.

    Yummy
Sauteed in butter, way to go! Add a generous sprinkle of onion salt while they are cooking and a little bit of garlic pepper... yummy. I add quartered fresh tomatoes to the pan (and remove the skin as it wrinkles up and separates from the toms). Nice with mashed potato.

I dislike him too, and I agree with you about Breakfast at Tiffany's. His impersonation of a Japanese was sad.

That's not irrational-it's perfectly understandable! I despise that type of film Too! along with the 'feelgood film of the year' type!

Every time that I see trailers for the endless Toy Story or Shrek series I start to yawn. I just don't get this craze for animated films and adult cartoons. The last cartoon character to make me laugh was Roadrunner!

Again,i too do not appreciate this type of film-silly cartoons for grown ups with unnecessary voice overs by famous actors and CGI !
