Thankyou for reply: I wasn't sure what films were scheduled for that Barbican screening(s).

I have emailed Programme scheduler at BFI regarding a possible-in-the future screening of 'Nightmare' -it's about time... Best to you.

I'm sure the Barbican cinema would have kept records, wouldn't they? I saw quite a few but mostly the early ones and I can't remember if Nightmare was shown. It's a shame they haven't done any seasons like that since then - there was a Carry On season c1996 which sold out most screenings.

I went to a couple of the double bills, including ´Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll´& ´Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde´. The big draw was a screening of ´Never Take Sweets from a Stranger´. I have got the season programme somewhere but can´t think where.

OK, found the programme. There was a (ahem) ´Hammer Slammer´ triple bill of ´Taste of Fear´, ´Paranoiac´ and ´Nightmare´, all for the bargain price of 12 pounds.

Thankyou VERY much for confirming this Wolfchen-I'd somehow thought that Nightmare was shown!-damned shame I'd missed this-would dearly love to have seen this on the big screen! Best-Scenesixty.

I remember going to see THE STRANGLERS OF BOMBAY and TERROR OF THE TONGS as these were hard-to-see films at the time. Hmmm, I'm not sure why I didn't go to see NEVER TAKE SWEETS...as this would have been another that I wouldn't have been able to see otherwise.
