Copy of the Radio Times on Sylvia Syms's table, thought at first it was a Doctor Kildare cover, but not so sure now, will keep investigating...

It is indeed a DR KILDARE cover, bruiser - I've seen it before.

I'd forgotten that hilarious scene of Maurice Denham reading the DD-3D magazine.
These are wonderful. With your permission, I'm going to put copies in the Bogarde thread too. Worth viewing twice!

    Thanks for sharing those,

Only my third contribution to this thread, surprisingly. The last one at the beginning of the year! Very belated Thanks for your replies, and well done Gerald on finding those Movie Life and Radio Times covers. I had some success myself yesterday, with the periodical that featured in the opening post ...

TIME magazines in 'Because That Road Is Trodden' (filmed 1967)

This was a short British film set in a public school. Two of the boys are seen reading issues from consecutive weeks:

Although they are not shown in chronological order ... 10th (left) and 3rd March 1967:

American publishers Henry R. Luce, who died the previous week, and Hugh Hefner.

Henry Luce - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hugh Hefner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't know who this is but he's surely among the names in the end credits. Not at IMDb's, I notice (left to me again?).

Because That Road Is Trodden is included as an extra on the Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush DVD. The year of release is given as 1969 there as well but there's further evidence that it was filmed in 1967 as I spotted the Manfred Mann album Soul of Mann. Confirmed here:
