    Well done Jim....
The sleeve to the left of the Manfred Mann album is none other than Bert Kaempfert's "Swinging Safari"....

I should know, my step-father had the bloody thing...

PLUS ... Various Artists - Solid Gold Soul (bottom left), again from 1966:

Probably when the picture of the uncredited Francoise Hardy was taken.

Correction: The Four Tops LP cover I posted last time is the US version (Stereo) when it should be the UK (Mono), below.
I am including The Kinks' Face to Face again as it reappears next to the Herb Alpert album on the left in the main picture:

Some of the other Record Sleeves are more difficult to identify, like the one on the left of This Old Heart of Mine, and the cover behind A Swingin' Safari. Does The Spencer Davis Group feature twice, like Manfred Mann and The Rolling Stones? I'm less confident about The 2nd Album (comparing Spencer's arm to the one top left) but the 'AU' between A Swingin' Safari and Mann Made Hits is definitely Autumn '66:

    Cornershop,
    Love those LP covers.
A world of art lost within the miniscule canvas of CD and killed off completely by the soulless but convenient world of the download.
No wonder vinyl has made a comeback in recent times, as people rediscover the presentational value of the 12 inch square sleeve and the quality of the vinyl sound.
    Long live vinyl!

    Agreed, Sarge.
I never sold my vinyl collection, quite large, and recently re-discovered my enthusiasm for the medium by adding to my collection of picture discs and also buying The Three Degrees LP's and picture sleeve 45's.
    Whatever happened to Harleybloke?
Anyone still in touch with the old rascal?

I just found this site, and while I don't think anyone will want to try to identify the albums, it's definitely a nice collection of photos.

and up towards the top, it's

(By the way - what a great shop ... or was it just a great time for music?)

Also seen by theuofc in the Family Way grabs. By the way, "What Now My Love" always makes me think of Benny Hill's sketch where the announcer misreads the song title as "What ... now, my love?!", going on to refer to "What's this thing called, Love?" ... Funny guy.

Yet another Manfred Mann album, this time in the Short Because That Road Is Trodden (1967):

That white line at the bottom is noticeable in the final frame of this and other edits to the 16mm film.

It was about the daydreams of a public schoolboy (Sebastian Tombs). Is this profile of the same man?:
    Scottish Lib Dems: Sebastian Tombs

Soul of Mann (1967) in colour!:

A compilation of instrumental tracks, apparently:
Soul of Mann - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Minutes later, two of the boys are seen reading copies of TIME, which I've tracked down and will post at http://www.britmovie.co.uk/forums/ge...nes-films.html shortly.
