How about a thread on films that the title made you want to go and see, and while I'm not talking about Dracula and Frankenstein etc which were well publicised, I mean films where the title made you sit up and think "that sounds great, I've got to see it". My memories as a very young film fan are "Where No Vultures Fly" and as an early teen "X the Unknown" and "Blood of the Vampire" all of which I was drawn to see by the titles alone.

Zombie Flesh Eaters. I just had to see a film called that.

    And it didn't disappoint.

My local flea pit had a film advertised called "Take Your Clothes Off & Live".

This was about 1965, I was 10 & of course they wouldn't let me in!!

See Take Your Clothes Off and Live (1963)
A typical excuse to show some naked flesh (usually female):
"Several attractive girls travel, by various means (plane, vintage car, hitch-hiking), to a nudist camp in the South of France."

I love "vintage" car! Just in case you were in two minds about going.

Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia just had to be watched when it came on the TV years ago.

Things to do in Denver When You're Dead was another one, but more recently

I watched A better Way to Die, largely because of the title (having never heard of it before) too.

Those last two are very much amongst my favourite recently-modern movies now.

"Grip of the Strangler" 1958 with Boris Karloff had me racing to the Gaisford Cinema in Kentish Town.

In Bruges. I had recently spent a holiday there and wanted to see the film purely to catch glimpses of this beautiful town. Amazingly, I loved the film and almost forgot to look for familiar landmarks.

I watched this the other week. It's part of the "Warriors" box set. Interesting that Alan Steel (Hercules) is actually Sergio Ciani an Italian actor/bodybuilder

as opposed to the usual American or British import. The female leads in these films (Anna Maria Polani in this one) are invariably absolutely gorgeous!!
