Are you looking forward to seeing him in the remake of Run For Your Wife? We've also got Cliff the Busker and Dame Judi the Bag Lady joining in the fun.

Yes of course but I think he needs to stretch his awesome talent.. Perhaps he could cross dress for a remake of The Seventh Veil?

I guess it is because I learned to appreciate him during his middle years in American films that I find him to be utterly delightful as a young actor, getting his start in the theatre and a few films.

Now I wanna see a picture of him when he was 20! I bet I will be lucky enough to though someday soon. :)

I'd love to see a true-to-the-book version of 'The Thirty Nine Steps'. The Hitchcock one was good, but nothing like the book - the 1959 version with Kenneth More was awful, the Robert Powell version the best of the lot (actually set in the Edwardian era and very atmospheric, closer to the book than the others but still not that close), and the 2008 version absolutely dire

The fact that there would be no significant female character, would go against the likelihood.

Have you ever seen "The King's Pirate"?

In the remake for "The Ghost and Mrs Muir", who would play Mrs Muir? I can picture Gerard Butler as Daniel Gregg.

It wouldn't be a remake, but a proper adaptation of A Clockwork Orange would be interesting to see.

Although the film is absolutely excellent I'd quite like to see A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum redone as a lot of the songs were missing.

Cabaret too, now that I think of it.

Yes to both Though the Sam Mendes Cabaret was filmed - Cabaret (TV 1993) - IMDb

It would be nice to see a decent version of A Little Night Music too.

I saw this in the cinema when it first came out and it's itself a remake of an Errol Flynn film called Against All Flags (1952). Stock footage from the 1952 film was used quite extensively I believe.

It is a real pity so much of the music was jettisoned from AFTHOTWTTF.

Cabaret, however, is perfect in my opinion - and miles better than the stage show.

I'd like to see a remake of Night of the Demon (I know Drag Me To Hell appeared to be an unattributed remake), but as a purely psychological thriller (with no visible demon).

I've always thought that Them could be remade - I love the original, but the ants are very static.

I know it hasn't been filmed yet, but the Jack Reacher film starring Tom Cruise will need to be remade immediately!
