Do you have any favourite scene/s that never fail to make you laugh, no matter how many times you see them ?

Mine is the bicycle/car chase from "What's up Doc?" - Barbra Steisand and Ryan O'Neil. The whole film is funny but that bit really cracks me up - every time !

Another one of mine is Luciano Pavarotti and Kathryn Harold having the most amazing food fight in the film "Yes, Georgio" !

Woody Alan when his date arrives in "Play it again Sam", George Segal and Goldie Hawn in the stagecoach scene with "El Shmocko" in "The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox". Peter Sellers in "Only Two Can Play" when Mr Griffiths Jones turns up with some friends, the closing scenes in "Basil the Rat" and nearly anything from "Bilko" (the tv show NOT the film!)

Another I've just remembered courtesy of Sky Classics today is "The Court Jester" classic scene with "The pellet with the poison, and the flagon with the dragon".

Even reading that in print is funny without the benefit of seeing Danny Kaye's reactions to it!

It is the only Danny Kaye vehicle that has stood the test of time but it does have the benefit of the support cast of the Blessed Angela, Baz II,Cecil,Glynis and Mildred.

Remember in To Be Or Not To Be...

    Stanislav:

    - I hope you'd forgive me if I spoke with a bit of clumsiness
    - But it's the first time I speak with an actress

    Maria:

    - Lieutenant, it's the first time I meet a man who can...
    - ...drop 3 tons of explosives in two minutes

Ha, ha who says there's no sex understatements in Lubitsch films !!
