    Hi,
We know what books, stories, characters, both fact and fiction, have survived for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years, to the present day. Add films, television and radio to the list. What, or, who, do Britmovie members think will survive in future years? (Even into the next millenium, if you wish.)

    Alan French.

    Hi,
    That was quick.

Any way, only Kryptonite can harm me.

There is just so much stuff these days! And most of it is very disposable. Some formats will disappear and with them the ability to store or play some electronic media. Only the great stuff, the important stuff will be preserved and updated.

I reckon most of Joe Pasquale's output will be in there. But not his version of The Price is Right - only Leslie Crowther's.

One thing's for sure: in 2112 Lord Bruce of Forsyth will still be around to bore us with his charmless schtick. And people will be complaining about the lack of alien characters on Midsomer Murders.

    OK, that's two things.

I must admit there have been one or two incredibly famous actors that twenty or thirty years ago, I would have labelled Immortals and ever would be so, but nowadays I'm beginning to wonder if they are not already rapidly fading to grey..... or do I mean gray.
