Actor Gene Hackman Hurt In Cycling Accident
Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a pick-up truck while cycling in the Florida Keys.
The 81-year-old was airlifted to a Miami hospital after the crash but has since been released after routine tests, according to publicist Susan Madore.
Hackman was riding in Islamorada at around 3pm on Friday when his bike was struck from behind, throwing him onto a grass verge, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
No charges have been reported.
