My Mum remembers a film being made near Torquay when she was young (which would put it in the 1920s). She remembers it as a classical or biblical theme and the only scene she clearly recalls is a man in a loin cloth proclaiming from a high rock. Not a lot to go on but if anyone can help I'd be very grateful!!

I don't think they would have dared go to Torquay itself, especially after the first series had aired ![]() Steve |

IMDb actually lists a film titled 'Torquay' being made in 1923.
The film covered the sights and attractions in and around Torquay. Maybe there was some religious content in the film. Dave. |
