Does anyone know if this version has been released in Region 2 format on DVD ? Amazon only have a Region 1 version or Region 2 on VHS.

Why do you need it in region 2? What equipment do you have that won't play a region 1 DVD?

Well - I have reached the limit on my PC, and my DVD player is an ancient 'Deccavideo'. I really must buy a multi region at some point !

Yes, you should, before the shops stop selling them. Get a combined DVD & Blu-ray player like the Technika BRSS10. I got one while Tesco were selling them cheap

But whatever you get, check online to make sure it can play discs from all regions. Most can but the shops won't always admit it

Though even in 1986, surely someone must have noticed the Former Mr Dame Joane was playing a character called Trevor Peacock?

Special mention should be made of the 1966 Stagecoach because of the music by Jerry Goldsmith who is an underrated composer. When I first saw this movie I perked-up at the opening credits when I heard the mouth harp and the music suited the movie open landscape hearkening back to the cowboy films of the 50s while being influenced by the new European-made westerns coming on the scene.
