Carry On Columbus was worse so i think we can all give a sigh of relief that we were spared Carry On London.You simply cannot make a decent Carry On now because the actors have sadly left us and comedy has moved on.I cannot think of any modern day equivalents to Williams,James ,Connor etc.

I think it's more that just the loss of the stalwarts it is that the original team in its many permutations was was an ensemble and as such was a team where everyone had their moment - COC failed partly in my eyes because there was no team work going on - they were all stars and didn't gel together.
