I’m a jack Nicholson fan. He’s a natural. He always gives 100% and I never feel he is taking his audience for granted like others I could mention.
I did not enjoy The Witches of Eastwick (1987). I thought he was excellent in The Departed.I found Mars Attacks a little irritating but enjoyed Jack in it.

Anything with Hugh Grant, Jim Carrey, Julia Roberts, Liz Hurley, and Tom Cruise in it (though I'll make an exception for 'War of the Worlds'!)

That list of films I gave, I did say "worth watching, even if you only watch them for Jack"
I didn't mean to imply that they were all great films. Some are, some aren't, but he's good in all of them.

Anything with Tom Cruise . . . god, he's so light and fluffy . . . no power.

I suppose you're talking about sequels here? Yes, I tend to agree. Could a sequel ever top Hitchcock's Psycho? Of course not. Actually, there were 3 sequels to the original Psycho movie and none of them could hold a candle to the first one. 'If it works, don't fix it', that's my motto here.

I was joking, they are just a few films with a number at the end that I liked.
But I think what Azanti really meant was numbered sequels.

Although even there you get films like Alien 3 which was pretty good.

I got that Steve .I am not a lover of numbered sequels ,but one exception ( for me anyway ) was The Godfather 2 ,how I wish they could have come up with an alternate Title . I can't think of any british films that have numbered sequels off the top of my head ,Is it purely an american thing ? and do you think it is the lack of imagination by the studios or is it so an American audience knows what to expect

I was in America recently and watched the oscars live. There was a reference made to leading ladies and recent births and pregnancies of same .
The next quip made by the host ( whose name I forget ) was that any success on the night may lead to more pregnancy, and then the camera panned round to Jack sporting his usual devilish smile, He's even brilliant just in an audience
