Default Japanese Flick 1956 - Is Is Appropriate ?

I just saw a very good Japenese film from 1956 and I wondered if it is an appropriate subject for discussion/ attention on Britmovie. I can't imagine that it has any serious connection to Britain other than the subtitles are in English ? What is the policy and what is the genral opinion ?

Personally I like to hear about it but I'm confused General Film Chat is only for British related general film chat not general film chat? Not causing trouble or anything but there are plenty of non British topics in this part of the forum, don't want to ruffle any feathers

It's not an absolutely rigid rule, there aren't really very many of those here. But we do try to limit things to British film & TV shows. At least when we start new threads. They may drift off into other areas once they've started

Thanks Steve, fair comment, I've been a member for a while but only recently decided to play a bit more so it's good to get some sort of idea what goes on and it's good that threads are allowed to go into different areas of discussion as thats just a natural progression, well we hope
