do we have a comprehensive list of actors who were considered for the role?
( I doubt we'll ever have a full one but...)

There is a very funny clip on Youtube of Connery receiving a special award at a star studded hollywood ceremony and all these celebs come on to pay tribute to him in front of a large screen on which images flash up. couple of errors on there and its far from complete.It doesn't list Ian Hendry,William Franklyn or James Fox for Dr No, Ogilvy was never considered for OHMSS etc

William Franklyn would have made a good Bond IMHO. I have seen the name of Roy Thinnes on other lists, good actor but never thought of him as a Bond.
