I started doing that but began getting too many of them .... Mrs Bat wasn't pleased when the dvds started to encroach onto the family photo shelf. It was multi-boxes or the bin I fear ...... .

With about 3000 DVDs I went for slim cases, but am still rapidly running out of you-know-what....

free dvd's? on a recent trip to ireland, bantry bay area for holiday, one of the major newspapers ,were giving away a free dvd for about 12 days. The problem, you would have to go to a major retailer, such as Tesco, the nearest Tesco was in Cork city, about 96 kilometers from Bantry. On one day i had to go to Cork city. When i wen't to retrieve the dvd from Tesco, they were out,no rainchecks availble. From now on i bend the newspaper to see if the dvd is in it.

There's a Tesco in Killarney - isn't that nearer?

Isn't an option whereby you collect the tokens and send them to a postal address?

Instead of giving DVD's away, why not bring prices down?.Also , some weeks they say collect your free disc from Supermarkets, but I have found are stores many miles away.D

Has anybody sent for the Great War DVDS set by post from the Daily Mail and actually received them yet. I sent for mine on the 5th of November which is 38 days ago and they have not yet cashed the cheque, therefore I was wondering if this was the same scenario for everybody. I would welcome any advice or suggestions. Many Thanks

May be a bit late with a reply, but I did recieve my set 3 weeks ago, I was beginning to give up hope, I thought they may have been stolen from my doorstep, but no, they finally arrived.......and were left on the doorstep

Thank you for the info about 'Battleship Potemkin' Ian, I think it's one of those Films that has to be seen, like 'The Seventh seal', which I recieved a couple of weeks ago, trouble is I haven't got round to watching it yet........I need to be in the right frame of mind for a 'dark' Movie!

Mark
