I started this post on the subject of informing readers in advance what newspaper is
giving away a free DVD.

The subject matter has been lost in the last few postings of utter rubbish!

Please, stick to the subject. If you wish to play games

Go somewhere else!

I must concure with Malcolm, though my Neolithic friend from Avebury (or somewhere near) is right; if Malcolm has any more insight than the rest of us Plebs, as to the future run of freebee DVD material or other goddies of intrest to the forum available in the weekend press, Im sure we would love to be privi to his privilaged info. Frankly I fear he hasent and we have to wait till Saturday or ask the local witch doctor to read the entrails to find out, (the later is a waste of time, mine hasent a scooby either, already asked).

Malcolm, lighten up. It's called discussion and conversation not formal debate. Topics do drift. They always have and they always will. At least that's the way it is, and always has been, around here.

Sorry Steve, I'm with Malcolm. There always will be a level of background noise and I'll contribute to that as and when - it makes the board fun and gives an opportunity to get to know the other posters. But there is another level, where the in-jokes and background chatter will become intolerable to all but a few of the inner-sanctum cognascenti and the others will say "enough" and disappear from the forum. I've personally felt less inclined to contribute of late - thank god I hear you say!

So, what do people reckon - too much chatter, not enough, or just right?
