Me too - good stuff!

Lol@samkydd - yes, while I really like Don't Look Now, I have to admit it does suffer from a particularly acute case of 70's-itis!

Well at least they're cheaper to smoke. Think of all that money you're saving

Free in next Saturday's Guardian: Supersize Me, Morgan Spurlock's documentary about surviving on fast food.

This was on C4 a couple of weeks ago, recommended if anyone missed it then.

is this Sat 22nd.

It is cruel to discover one's mediocrity only when it is too late.

I must say I'm tempted to break the habit of a lifetime and actually buy the Daily Mail for the next two weeks - there are certainly some great films being given away

You send off for them put you also have to pay £6 p&p if you do that. Still good value though because it works out at about £1 per DVD (if you include cost of newspaper).

You can exchange the daily tokens at main branches of W H Smiths or collect 10 and send them off with the P&P and admin charge to get the films delivered by the end of May. I think tomorrow the Billy Liar film is free in The Mail on Sunday plus a Simply Red double DVD.

These are good classic films but the only danger is that having to buy the Mail for two weeks could influence you to support the re-intoduction of public hanging for petty crime, and also become anti anyone who doesn't live in suburbia with a monkey puzzle tree in the front garden and a penchant for garden centres and for whom beige is the colour of choice from cars to summer casual clothing! Why does everyone here hate The Daily Mail? As British papers go it is popular in Germany.
