Prince Valiant, the recent one with Edward Fox as King Arthur, was filmed Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales. Sadly the castle since then is practically derelict. The castle was also used as a gym by Randolph Turpin when training for his fight with Sugar Ray.

The ultimate castle movie must be Where Eagles Dare

It is located at Werfen, Salzburg, Austria.
