Smile Films and TV Programmes featuring Castles

I thought i would start a new Thread to see how many films & TV programmes Brit Movie Members can think of that have featured Castles, i know that Castles have featured prominently in Robin Hood films & TV Series and i can think of many more films featuring Castles including The Colditz Story (1955), Greyfriars Bobby The True Story Of A Dog (1961), The Private Life Of Sherlock Holmes (1970), Dracula and Frankenstein films and also lots of Swashbuckler films, i can also think of many TV programmes featuring Castles including The Adventures Of Sir Lancelot, Ivanhoe, William Tell, Richard The Lionheart and Doctor Who, i am sure Brit Movie Members can think of many more films & TV programmes featuring Castles.

Ivanhoe

A Challenge For Robin Hood (1967)

Doctor Who - The Time Warrior

Dealers featured Leeds Castle in Kent as the home of Paul McGann's character.

A brief glimpse of Edinburgh Castle seen in The Leather boys as there was a motorbike race from London to Edinburgh and back.

Alnwick Castle was also used in the filming of the 1971 film Mary, Queen of Scots starring Vanessa Redgrave and Glenda Jackson.

El Cid from 1961 which was largely filmed in Spain features the Castle of Peñíscola which is in the region of Castellón on the eastern Mediterranean coast.
