This car was a mode of transport of an actor in a 60's childrens series. It was also featured though not the star in two British films also made in the 60's.

Classic Cars might be difficult to maintain and not very comfortable but they certainly didn't look alike.

Steed and Mrs Peel also drive off in one at the end of the Avengers. I'll have to scratch my head on two films.

Yes - it did a semi-scenic tour before ending up at Mr. Quilby's house ; presumably somewhere in the East end. It did indeed take in the Houses of parliament and Tower Bridge and looked perilously low in the water !

Still, that being said, after seeing it as a sprog I always wanted a go in one - would even now...
