Default The Car's the Star

I'm thinking of those films where the car is either central to the plot or becomes much more than just a mode of transport for the characters. First up:
(and it's not Harry Potter)

There was good use of one in Sebastian (1968) with a fashion shoot being done from one as they drove along the Westway and then down the slip road into Paddington.

Not the film I was thinking of, my previous avatar was a still from the film I had in mind and as for the TV series no clues yet. As for DB7's Anglia the only one i can think of was part of Kirby New Town's police force ... Z Cars
