Checking the imdb for people connected with the film industry who were born on the same day and year as myself (29.09.53), I found the following:

Personally, I've not heard of any of them. Perhaps other members can match with more well-known actors and/or directors, film crew, etc..

Give it a while,CK. I tried to find out who was born on my birthday,4 September 1962. I know I am younger than Tom Cruise by a couple of months and older than Jodie Foster likewise. Also Matthew Broderick,Demi Moore ,Emilio Estevez and Jennifer Jason Leigh were also born in 1962. Could you find out for me who was born on my birthdate? Cheers,CK.

BTW the only famous 'people' I knew who shared by birthday (but not year) until recently were fictional characters i.e. Phoebe Buffay and Mike Baldwin.

(In one of those John Wayne war movies - EXPENDABLE, I think - John Wayne and Robert Montgomery approach the skipper of docked sub and ask him for more torpedoes. Upon this skipper's refusal, Montgomery asks if the sub's crew knows who played Lady Tess in the Naval College's school play, to which the skipper drops his head in shame and gives away some of his torpedoes.
