Default DVDs available in the UK list?

Is there a list available - on line or off - of what films are currently available on DVD in the UK?

Not to my knowledge. If I want to find out if something is available commercially I usually do a search on play.com. They supply just about everything available.

Not really, titles one retailers stocks may be sold out with another. As TH says, best to check with one of the large outlets.

play.com is probably the best one for listing almost everything in the UK, but amazon often list low price region 0 stuff from the US which play.com doesn't

Not really. PlayDotCom are indeed excellent... and always my first port of call... but I've often had to go running to Amazon UK.

PlayDotCom are excellent, really excellent, for new releases. However, because they don't divide movie releases from Fitness Vids and the such like... seeing what is newly released often involves drudging through a lot of dross also.

I would have mentioned Amazon but I don't like plugging companies that are bent on world domination!

Neither do I, but I'd already seen Tesco getting mentioned on another thread:

So I thought, what the heck. Besides, Amazon are very useful. I recently picked up an excellent DVD documentary on movie composer Bernard Herrmann, from Amazon France that doesn't appear to be on sale anywhere else on the net - including the other Amazons.

find-dvd.co.uk is very good for finding out what's available and the best prices.
