I love anything with Ian Richardson appearing in it.

'The Fountain' DVD arrived on my door mat today... I bet that is worth catching. I really rate Darran Aronofsky and wish I could have caught the movie at the cinema. One of my favourite Science Fictions is his 'Pi'.

The highlight of the marathon for my friend Tim was the British entry, 'The Day the Earth Caught Fire'. He had heard of the movie but had never seen it before and had been expecting something along the lines of a low budget Science Fiction disaster movie. Watching the movie was a bit of a revelation to him.

I love "Dark City" I think it is seriously underated and seems all but forgotten, great film.
