What's a nice girl like Carmel doing supporting Moanchester Utd? (I've been to Ulster and it's rugby not woosey football............OK, so maybe SOME drinking as well as rugby... mind you Carmel, has MUCH better legs than all the Ulster rugby players I've ever seen.............but why do the Irish love Liverpool and the Red menace so much? What about Everton and City?)

Tear jerker? CHNWP as they prepare the execution. Violette Szarbo? True Heroine!! Thank God for such people on our side!

.....You couldn't hear it, if they were shooting at me with howitzers!

Could it be because of the number of Irish families (of families with Irish relations) in Liverpool?

I'll second that. Even more so seeing it with Tania Szabo and a lot of Stockwell locals that knew Violette. Virginia McKenna had been at the event earlier but never watches herself on film so didn't come in to the screening.
