What you say about CW being a trained dancer picks up the comments in other threads about actors (John Mills and Sid James) known latterly only for acting who started as hoofers. There is also James Stewart, who was a wonderful dancer with those gangly legs. He and Buddy Ebsen were amazing dancers in "Born to Dance" with Eleanor Powell.

It was the other week .... I really enjoyed it. Well written and fast moving, a bit like Costner's Robin Hood film ..... a load of old tosh but good fun!
