name='tali122']Films always show the millions profit (or loss)- but i assume , the industry works on percentages?- what is the acceptable % profit that the movie makers look for on their investment-is there a ballpark figure?
As a low budget movie making a few grand or so may have a huge % return against a very successful blockbuster which will have headline grabbing millions profit but in relative terms a small % profit
Why should you assume they work on percentages?
The people that invest money in movies know it's always a huge gamble. They might look at their overall percentage profit or loss over a year or so. But I would imagine they just look at the amount they made, or lost, on each title
