name='jaycad']i purposely didn't 'get' those films-i hate computer generated images and films for obsessive bill bailey types, harry potter and any terry pratchett belong to that category!![]()
+1
In a way, I look on CGI as a symptom of corporatization of the cinema. IMO it seems to be taking the production further away from the traditional creative community and handing more control to the suits. And I've just about had my fill of slo-mo bullet sequences, etc. but it seems Hollywood hasn't - vide the previews of 'Wanted' and 'The Incredible Hulk' on the box last night.
name='wadsy']I think its a great film, Burton is superb!
Yes, agreed.
Blowup was a complete mystery to me.... and I belive to David Hemmings too!
'Michael Clayton' was a mystery to me along with 'The Da Vinci Code'. Keep 'em simple, like me!

I found The Da Vinci Code to be very entertaining and easy to follow .... as was the book.![]()
In a shock agreement with Bats, I was surprised to find myself enjoying The Da Vinci Code (even Tom Hanks' hairdo though I was amused to discover that you don't need a reference library when you've got a teenager with a mobile phone) and I sat open-mouthed at the over-rated rubbish that was The Matrix.
name='Modestyblaise']I have never watched a James Bond film all the way through!
Me too - I always find myself dropping off to have a snooze.- then wake up and the film has ended.
