Oooh, another good collection. Here's the IMDB Keyword search for "jack-the-ripper":

Keyword: Jack The Ripper...

which seems to include quite a broad and loose definition of "Jack The Ripper" - I mean, the American TV western "Cimmaron Strip"?!! Jack left London and found the American west and gunfighters at high noon? Or was it that Jack CAME from there and was a frustrated gunslinger - when his pearl handled six-shooters were sneered at, he opted for a blade?

Oh well... here's to good - uh - hunting, I suppose!

Well, there is Bridge Across Time (aka Terror at London Bridge to everyone who hates David Hasselhoff ). Jack dies in the Thames, only to become somehow attached to London Bridge when it is sold and transported to Arizona. Once there, he is of course resurrected and returns to doing his dastardly deeds ... ... A film that gave new meaning to the words "far-fetched". And an incredibly boring showdown amid the empty landscape of Arizona, as I remember.

Just when I am railing against the lack of creativity as documented by all the remakes, I am then headed down, yes, the worst alternative - BAD creativity.

Or wait - is there such a thing? Yes, I think so... that London Bridge resurrection sounds like a hoot. But I just might pass... I think I've got something more important to do for the next, oh, 35 years. But after that, any David Hasselhoff film might come up in my queue.

He's on some American talent-watch TV show, and apparently plays the "too amart to fall for junk" role. It's a shame they won't let him appear on-camera has his "too drunk on the floor to even eat" self. Yes, a real Hollywood personality, he is!

And back in Arizona! What is it with the Ripper and Arizona? I wonder why he didn't stay in San Francisco where he went Time After Time ...

51 mins, former bottom half of a double bill and the only available dvd a tape transfer off a swedish vhs copy? Oooh, be still my heart! Jack the Ripper Goes West sounds like real class Obviously there is a fate worse than David Hasselhoff, even for Jack the Ripper

There was an episode of the original Star Trek in which Jack was a very old alien and terrorised Kirk and co.
Bats.

I surfed some Trek sites and discovered ...

Episode title: WOLF IN THE FOLD (episode 36)

Written by: ROBERT BLOCH

Trivia: It was the first episode to extensively feature Scotty. The actor playing Jack the Ripper was John Fielder (the voice of Piglet in Disney's Pooh cartoons). It has a reputation as being the 'creepiest' episode.

Another one I had almost forgotten: Murder by Decree, featuring Christopher Plummer, James Mason, David Hemmings and Donald Sutherland (How could I forget that film? Admittedly, it is not as good as it sounds but with that cast ... )

And there is Jack the Ripper by Jess (Jesus) Franco with the mad, bad and unsurpassed Klaus Kinski as ... well, guess

I have to disagree, IMHO Murder By Decree is wonderful, much better than the similarly themed A Study In Terror With John Neville, Donald Houston, John Fraser and Anthony Quayle.

A Study in Terror its about his range of terror and how Sherlock Holmes ( John Neville) and Dr Watson figure out who it is
